| For the first time in 2006 a seminar about superconductivity was offered as a seminar which is comprehensive between the faculties at the Brunswick University of Technology.
The chairs of physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and scientists of the Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt were participated in the seminar. Because of its popularity a further seminar was initiated in 2007, this time captioned with "Brunswick, city of science 2007". The concerned parties were again several chairs of Brunswick University of Technology, the Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt and as a extension the Industry. Remakes in 2008, 2009 and 2010 were organized. Multifaced presentations from Industry (Bruker, EON-Avacon, evico, iv-Supra, Nexans, PerCoTech, Siemens, Stirling Cryogenetics, Vattenfall Europe, Zenergy Power) and from research institutions (IFW- und ILK-Dresden, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Kupferinstitut, PTB, TU Braunschweig, TU Wien, Universität Augsburg) were given. The thematic priority of the Brunswick SupraleiterSeminar has shifted to application of superconductors in electric machines and the economical and ecological influence of these new technologies in the last years. |

| In 2011 the Brunswick SupraleiterSeminar will take place in the Alten Braunschweiger Nordbahnhof.
Date: 11./12. Mai 2011 The flyer will be available shortly for downloading. The Brunswick SupraleiterSeminar is a common platform for dialogue between potential users and producers of superconducting materials and equipment. |
