PerCoTech was founded out of the institute for surface technology in 2001 as a spin offstage from the technical university of braunschweig. Kick-off was a business plan competition where PerCoTech was awarded twice in the final round. The intensive development work within the initial years makes PerCoTech now one of the leading enterprises in the area of CVD of high temperature superconductors.

PerCoTech bundles the know-how from over 15 years research and development in the area of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) for superconductors and oxide membranes. PerCoTech has the legal form of a german AG since 2007.
